It's been widely reported that some businesses will go under because of Brexit, whether or not it’s a "no-deal". I don't doubt it.
However, the real cause of businesses going under in the event of a "no-deal" - or any kind of Brexit - won't be because of Brexit itself. It'll be the quality of thinking of the owner of that
business.
Events outside of our control happen all the time and Brexit is just another one of them. We can’t allow our lives to be governed by events we can't control allowing external conditions and
circumstances to shape the conditions of our inner world… stifling creativity, growth and decision-making…
It's been over three years since we voted to leave the European Union. It was always possible that this might happen without an agreement, and if such an outcome represented a major risk to the survival of a business, then
surely its owner, if he or she is a thinking person, would look at their business model to minimise or remove any potential exposure.
I'm not suggesting this is easy, I'm simply pointing out there's always a solution to a problem - and the problem is never the problem itself, the problem is the quality of thinking being applied to the
problem.
If Brexit (deal or no-deal) puts a business in a vulnerable position, then it's incumbent upon the owner to re-think their business model - and three years is plenty of time to re-engineer a business model.
Your business will never outgrow the quality of thinking you bring to it - and if you're not getting the results you'd like to be getting in either your business or your personal life, it's because of the quality of your thinking to create better
outcomes.
If you'd like a call with me to challenge your thinking about your business model you can book a time to suit you here.
To your success.
