I have written before about why who you surround yourself with matters a lot. It was Jim Rohn who said that we become the average of the five people we spend most time with.
There is actually a name for it. It’s called the Law of
Proximity, which states that who you surround yourself with most makes or breaks you. You don't have to look far to see the evidence of this law in action.
It doesn't care if you choose to interact with like-minded, growth-orientated, success-focused entrepreneurs, or whether you choose to surround yourself with life's conventional-thinking, average business owners. Either way the law will operate. And your
results will reflect it.
So at this time of year, when many business owners are winding down for Christmas and spending time with family and friends, why not take time to reflect on who is in your network and inner circle? Do they inspire and challenge you to be the best you can, do they invest in their own growth and development, and are they supportive of others?
You see if you're to enjoy the level of success in your business and personal life most business owners are constantly seeking, looking at who is in your inner circle is a good place to start 2017.
That’s all for this year; enjoy the festive season and we’ll be back in the new year.
