Hi
I haven't told you yet, have I, that I am writing my third book (I still call Figure it Out my first book even though it's really short). Anyway the new one is called Journey to Freedom and it's about why businesses fail and how to avoid it happening to you.
And one of the reasons is a lack of one of
the traits of high-achieving business owners.
Persistence
I was reminded of this when one of our My Business members wrote to me this week asking about Click Funnels, Russell Brunson's best selling funnel software. Now Russell is a really clever and successful guy, but he didn't start out that way - well not successful anyway. He failed - a lot. He writes about how out of his 2 really successful funnels, over 100 bombed! So why did he keep
trying?
Persistence.
When Sarah and I set up My Business HQ in 2014 we tried several business models until we hit on one that works and achieves our mission of helping people who want freedom and flexibility in their work. The first 2 failed. We knew that to succeed you first have to learn from failure so we kept working.
Persistence.
You see most business owners give up too soon. They give up too soon trying new marketing campaigns, getting new customers, attending
networking events, trying new models, following up proposals and, yes, waiting to be successful. Some even go bankrupt on their first attempt and have to start all over again.
And they do. Persistence.
It is one of the traits that separates the super-successful from the majority. Don't give up. Sometimes that's hard, but next week I'll show you how to give persistence a boost with your own secret weapon.
To your success.
