The chances are you don't remember the 1980s British Telecom ads with Maureen Lipman and the famous line 'he's got an 'ology' and by now are wondering if I have finally lost it!
Well not quite, because the 21st century
version of 'It's good to talk' is live chat. You know those websites you visit and can't find the answer to your question and want to ask someone - then you see they have a chat function (which of course isn't chatting at all its typing - but hey - the next best thing).
It come in two varieties: the one where you are linked with an operator (usually in India) and can chat 24/7 and the one where
you can only chat with the website owner/business if they are online.
The former is obviously a paid for service (and if you'd like to know more drop me a line as one of my fellow mastermind group members runs one of these businesses) but the latter is now available as a free service from a number
of providers.
I have just installed tawk.to on my website in less than 2 minutes it's that easy. You get a piece of html code from them and copy it to your website or if you have a Wordpress site it's even easier - just install the plug-in.
