Hi
Last week we left Europe amid accusations of incompetence and we are now - amongst recriminations and backbiting - embroiled in the search for a new leader.
A few days earlier Brexit happened.
Maybe the only difference between Hodgson and Cameron is their salaries (Hodgson earned as much during the two week group stage of Euro 2016 as Cameron does in a year).
Incompetence.
It is the main reason why only 1% of entrepreneurs are millionaires and only 20% earn more than
six figures a year.
Now I am not saying that small business owners are knowingly incompetent; no-one is. But most of us are or have been. I know I was.
There are lots of reasons for this. Many of them rooted in the scarcity mentality we learned as children, which particularly afflicts baby boomers.
Fortunately it is easy to escape if you can change your thinking. Because by thinking differently you will change your mindset. And that's important because if you are not achieving the success you deserve it's your mindset that is stopping you.
No, it's the banks, Brexit, the economy, the government, El Niño, my next door neighbour.... and
101 other excuses....!
No it's not. But neither will anything change until you recognise something: it's all your fault. Which is good news. Because it means you can fix it.
In August I will be sharing my thoughts on what it takes to fix your 'inner game' and build a success mindset.
To your success.

PS The words 'Some people are on the pitch...they think its all over. It is now' was originally said at the end of the 1966 World Cup final. Who said them and whose goal meant it really was all
over?
