Support for small business growth is nothing short of diabolical today.
I didn't say that (although its true) it comes from Christian Simpson who is one of my mentors. He tends to be blunt when it comes to speaking his mind. He
carried on;
Despite the rhetoric, and the fact that small businesses are the major driving force of the economy, the UK government abandoned small business as soon as they sat their self-serving backsides on the velvet-clad seats at Westminster.
The party for business? Correction. The party for big business.
After all, that's where the fortunes are eventually made in non-exec directorships, books and keynote speeches once political careers are put to bed.
Not that I begrudge their success. I'm not playing victim here. It is what it is. I'm simply observing.
The bottom line is (like you don't already know) you're on your own. If it's going to happen for you, it's got to come from
you.
The question is, how much do you really want it? And how well equipped are you to make it happen?
Strong stuff, but true. Well almost.
Because there is help for those who are passionate and determined - those who really want it badly enough. The 5% who will eventually make it.
And today we are launching our Value Driver programme. It isn't for the faint
hearted. As well as your 'day job' you'll be working hard on your business for the next twelve months. Holding the mirror up to it and seeing it as it really is. No rose tinted spectacles here.
If you think you've got what it takes find out
more. We can only take on a limited number of people so drop me a line if you are interested or know someone who is.
More soon.
