I can never get too excited about Budgets these days as they seem to come round so often and are mostly leaked beforehand anyway.
This one was no different, even though it was particularly political given the forthcoming EU Referendum and a possible leadership election.
As usual the devil is in the detail and, as we
have become used to with this current Chancellor, his headline grabbing tax cuts were more than swallowed up by his tax increases elsewhere.
There are always some announcements that affect our clients and small businesses in general so as usual we have added a Budget Report to our website for those who like to read the detail.
