A recently divorced mum who was dreading her first Valentine’s Day alone was taken out on a date by her 4-year-old son, to Pizza Express, with a jar of pennies he’d saved up.

…Emma Schofield said that her son Max reduced the staff of Pizza Express to tears when he offered to pay for their 3-course meal on Sunday 14th February, Valentine’s Day.
However, when he went to pay the bill, because the waitress was so touched by the act of kindness from the 4-year-old, they waived the cost
and gave the pair their meals free of charge.
