A recently divorced mum who was dreading her first Valentine’s Day alone was taken out on a date by her 4-year-old son, to Pizza Express, with a jar of pennies he’d saved up.

This story is bound to tug at your heartstrings! Grab some tissues…

…Emma Schofield said that her son Max reduced the staff of Pizza Express to tears when he offered to pay for their 3-course meal on Sunday 14th February, Valentine’s Day.

However, when he went to pay the bill, because the waitress was so touched by the act of kindness from the 4-year-old, they waived the cost and gave the pair their meals free of charge.
