At this time of year our thoughts turn to reflection on the year about to end, what's in store for us next year and spending time with family and friends.
That is how it should be.
But amongst all the frenzy and getting gifts for others there are a couple of things that can get overlooked.
The first is that what is in store for us in 2016 is a matter of choice. We control our actions and will choose how next year turns out. Even if we do it unconsciously. So wouldn't it be better to do it consciously?
Now I am not talking about a few resolutions that don't make it out of January.
I mean really setting your vision for 2016 and then establishing your annual and quarterly goals to get there, writing them down and revisiting them weekly as you work through the actions to achieve
them.
And secondly to give the most important gift of all - your own personal development - to yourself.

said "Your level of success will rarely exceed your level of personal development, because success is something you attract by the person you become."
