If you've not come across paypal.me yet, you can use this cool new service from PayPal to send and receive money very simply.

You need a unique username – preferably your own name or business name.

I got Guilford Accounting, but if you don't want to end up with a link such as PayPal.me/john12349 (not a real one)it's probably a good idea to grab yours now before the good ones are taken!

Here's how to get started. (You'll need to have an existing PayPal account to use this):

Just go to https://www.paypal.me/ and follow the instructions. Click on the blue "Get started" button Enter your name or your business name to make your unique address. You are only allowed one paypal.me account for each PayPal account you have.

Then click "grab this link"

You can now share that link via a text message or post it on social media or on your web site,
and it's the easiest way for anyone to send you money directly!

By putting numbers on the end of your link, those numbers are translated into a payment amount.

For example, if you visit: http://paypal.me/GuilfordAccounting/1.95
- that link automatically creates a page & requests that the visitor pays me $1.95

People are already selling pdf's on 'ideas' to use this service.  But instead of paying for them - here's a few you could do right away. Just put your paypal.me link on your website, social media profile, or emails. Customers can click the link, enter a payment amount, log in, and they're done - money is sent to you in an instant. When you receive the money, you pay your standard fee.

Like other PayPal transactions, paypal.me payments are secure. You and your customer are both protected by PayPal Seller and Buyer Protection for eligible transactions. And if your customer isn't one of the hundreds of millions of PayPal customers, he or she can sign up in minutes.
