Hi
Have you ever flown on one of those flights that shows the course the plane is on? You know the ones where it comes up on the cabin TVs.
Did you know that they are lying to you and that for 90% of the time the plane is off-course and heading in the wrong
direction.
There are lots of reasons for this: wind, weather, air pressure, other traffic, the changing weight of the plane as fuel is consumed and more.
But eventually you get to your planned destination because the pilot keeps making little corrections to the flight path.
Well it's the same in your business. Every day things are happening that knock you off course, and unless you correct them you won't end up where you planned to be.
But how can you tell when you
are off course and how do you make a correction?
Well if you are the pilot you have a navigator, instruments and a dashboard that show you the numbers.
As the pilot of your business shouldn't you have the same? And while you are in-flight not after you've landed!
You see most accountants will happily come along after you've landed (after your year end) and tell you that you've landed
in the wrong place. Unhelpful.
Shouldn't you have the navigator (your accountant) telling you when to make corrections as you go along.
We think so. Which is why at Guilford Accounting we have developed the Know your Business Numbers programme to keep you on course.
Look out for more details coming soon, or get it touch if you can't wait.
