and I have been business partners for over two years and she also runs her own business. I don't take any big decisions without asking her what she thinks.

And for business owners that is rare. Too often staff, customers and friends tell us what they think we want to hear. Finding someone who understands what it means to be an entrepreneur and can be brutally honest is a vital ingredient of a business owners panel of mentors and coaches.
In this instance she thought the idea I'd emailed to her early on Thursday was rubbish. And as usual she had some positive suggestions to make for alternative strategies.
If you are running your own business without a
mentor, coach or being part of a mastermind group you are almost certainly missing out on a great amount of wisdom which your competitors have access to.
So this Sunday spend a little time thinking about who will tell you when you have a rubbish idea. And give them a call.
