You have probably heard of Daniel Priestley. His first book Key Person of Influence was a best seller which brought him a lot of attention. Since then, he’s written four more books, Entrepreneur Revolution, Oversubscribed, 24 Assets and his latest book Scorecard Marketing, a physical copy of which you can get for free here.
Scorecard Marketing is, in Daniel’s words “The four-step playbook for getting more leads” and is unusual in that it also promotes Daniel’s online software ScoreApp.
Not that you need to subscribe to the software to benefit from the idea in the book (there is other software, such as Thrive Quiz, which does pretty
much the same) which is essentially to create an interactive quiz as a lead magnet and then provide feedback in the form of a score and a pdf report.
I’ve been trialling ScoreApp which now has an AI application embedded with it which produced a 40 questions quiz for me in under an hour.
Getting visitors to your website to download your lead magnet and leave you their e-mail address is getting harder unless the lead magnet is of real value. Quizzes are a
popular way of encouraging visitors, and as Daniel says: “If your business needs to talk to someone and qualify that person’s situation before you can properly sell to them, a scorecard is a game changer.”
