Hi
A dog trainer, an accountant, 2 digital marketers, a social media specialist, a postnatal doula and a virtual assistant with a new tech product
to pitch.
That’s not the start of a dubious joke.
Those are some of the people who took part in an email-writing course I first recommended to you last October.
The course is called Couch to 5 Welcome Emails - and I’m the accountant on that list because I took the course too.
You might think, “But Noel, you’re already very good at sending regular emails”.
My view is that you can always get better.
Not only did this short course get me to write a set of welcome emails to introduce my business to new subscribers, but the feedback I received
as part of the course helped me improve all of my emails. If you’ve noticed me telling a few more stories in my emails, now you know why!
The course is about to run again - starting on Monday 13th February, with the first teaching call at 4pm UK time.
If you’ve been meaning to write welcome emails for some time, or you need something to kickstart you getting on with your email marketing, then I
highly recommend Couch to 5 Welcome Emails.
Liz Painter is the email strategist
and copywriter behind the course, and is one of those rare specialists who really knows her stuff but isn’t remotely intimidating to work with.
The course involves 4 weekly teaching calls on a Monday, and 4 weekly coworking calls on a Tuesday. To be honest, I didn’t really need the
coworking calls, as I’m quite good at sitting down and writing emails, but they’re a great resource if you do need that accountability, or you want Liz on hand to answer questions while you work. The course took up around 2 hours a week for me, and it was well worth investing that time.
In financial terms, it’s relatively inexpensive at £144 for the value you'll gain, which you can split into 3 payments if you
prefer.
All of the course details are here: https://commacomma.co.uk/5-welcome-emails-course/
If you have any questions you’re welcome to reply and ask me, or to email liz@commacomma.co.uk
Take my advice - don't miss this opportuntiy to really up your marketing
game.
Noel Guilford
