Hi
Did I tell you that my friend , Liz Painter, is a bit of a whizz with email marketing.
So much so, that when she sent out the details of her new “Couch to 5 Welcome Emails” mini-course, I put my name down immediately.
Because even though I have welcome emails set up, they could definitely do with an update.
I know Liz will help me get the work done in a logical, easy-to-follow way. And she won’t let me off the hook if I’m not doing the work! That’s why it was such an easy
decision for me.
If you’ve got welcome
emails to write, it would be great to see you there too.
By the way, Liz isn’t paying me to say this! I offered to
share this with you, because I know it’ll make a positive difference to your business.
I’ll hand over to Liz now, and let her tell you a bit about the course…
Noel
Hello, Liz here!
One of three things often happens when someone subscribes to your email list.
1. They drop straight into receiving your regular emails, with little idea of what to expect from you.
2. They drop straight into “the void” and they’ve probably forgotten who you are by the next time you get ‘round to emailing them.
3. They get a series of warm, friendly emails over a few days that introduce you to each other, get some interaction going, and set your new subscriber on the path to
becoming a customer or a repeat customer.
If you’re a (1) or a (2) but you’d like to be a (3) then my
Couch to 5 Welcome Emails mini-course is for you.
First things first, we’re starting on Monday 26th September.
So if you already know the next 4 weeks are insanely busy for you, stop reading now.
Still here? Great! This mini-course will be 4 weeks of live
training on Zoom. Plus some Zoom coworking to make sure we’re all getting on with the writing side of things. I’ll be writing my own welcome emails too and sharing them with you as we go, so you can see how it’s done.
Every step will be planned out for you, so all you need to do is follow my instructions… and be ready to write.
All the details for Couch to 5 Welcome Emails are here:
https://commacomma.co.uk/5-welcome-emails-course/
We’re a group of 5 so far, and I’m expecting a couple more
people to join us before Monday. This small size means there'll be plenty of time to give you feedback and individual help with your emails on the live calls.
Most people also want to know about the schedule, so here it is:
Monday 26th Sept - Training workshop - 10-11am
Thursday 29th
Sept - Coworking - 12-1pm
Monday 3rd Oct - Training and coworking - 9.30-11.30am
Monday 10th Oct - Training and coworking - 2-4pm
Monday 17th Oct - Training - 10-11am
Thursday 20th Oct - Coworking and course wrap-up -
1-2.30pm
Every call will be recorded, but if you can be there live you’ll get more out of it. The coworking
sessions are optional, but some people find it helpful to write “alongside” others on Zoom.
If we haven’t met, you’ll
probably want to know a bit more about me. I’m an email strategist and copywriter who’s been running my micro-agency, Comma Comma, since 2008. You can check me out on LinkedIn if you want the full CV :-)

I run courses and training a lot, and I attend plenty of training too, so I know what it’s like when people try to cram too much into their courses. It can feel overwhelming and it stops people making progress.
Couch to 5 Welcome Emails isn’t that kind of course. It’s pared down, with all of my experience and knowledge condensed into the minimum
amount of info you need to write welcome emails that DO THEIR JOB (they build relationships and lay the foundations for turning subscribers into customers).
If you have any questions at all, please drop me a note at liz@commacomma.co.uk
All the best,
Liz
